Not even sure if this is possible, but is there a way to turn off color invert when selecting text and changing the color? It would make it easier to see which colors work best over the background.

When the type is selected you can press Cmd+ H (mac) or Ctrl+H (windows) to hide the overlay (Extras).

Hi @mmowrer there is no way to turn this off. It's a native feature. You could post this in the Ideas tab as an option/enhancement.
