Turn off requirement to hit commit checkmark when dragging elements into PSCC

Hi, all. I frequently add elements to PS by dragging them from my Explorer photos into the workspace, which always requires that I click that "commit" checkmark at the top of the toolbar. I could have sworn there's a way to turn that off, but now that I've switched computers and bumped up to PSCC 2020, I can't find the disable option any longer.

In short, I want to be able to drag an object/photo into PS, reposition it, then drag another without having to commit the first object. Right hand is on the mouse, so hitting the Enter key slows me down.

Any suggestions welcomed.
