Please make sure tutorials are up to date with the product. For example, several tutorials reference the Magic Wand...which no longer exists.

The magic wand does indeed exist, I've used it numerous times today.

The Magic Wand tool still exists in the current version of Photoshop on desktop (26.10). It shares a slot with the object selection tool and the quick selection tool - shortcut W.

If you can't find the Magic Wand in your Toolbar, go to Edit menu > Edit Toolbar and see if it is a hidden tool or if it got moved into another group.

There is no way to edit the toolbar in Photoshop for the web.

Was the tutorial you watched for Photoshop for desktop or Photoshop for Web? If you are not sure, please post the link for the tutorial.

I've just read through the thread and you had not confirmed that the tutorial was for the web version. Can you post a link to a tutorial with the error and I'll take it up directly with Adobe staff.

Yes I did…read the title of the post. And read my reply to Jane-e.
Photoshop for the WEB does not include the Magic Wand. Yet it’s referenced
in the built in tutorials in Photoshop for the WEB. It would be helpful if
those tutorials are updated when major revisions are made.

I had read the title, and the reply to Jane. We know you are using Photoshop for the Web but wanted confirmation of which tutorial you are referring to and that it was a tutorial for the Web version, which you have now confirmed. When you provide a link to the tutorial with the issue, I can take it further for you.
