OK, I went through forums videos etc, but I could not make Type tool work the way it was in previous versions.

I have text in word - few paragraphs.

How I did it before - Type tool - select area - paste the text – rescale the frame to fit to our background.
How it works now - IT DOES NOT! I could not paste any text to preselected text frame.

When I just choose text tool and put the coursor on the screen and paste - it pastes all in one line. When I hit enter - I don't see anything except of the first line. I could not rescale text box.
I could not post text in few paragraphs because only first paragraph posts.

It's the worst thing happened to Photoshop - this "Point text" and "Paragraph text" idea, which broke everything.

I cannot even remember when Point Text and Paragraph Text were introduced in Photoshop and I have a hard time imagining how that should have broken anything much less »everything«.

And I have no problems copying text (from the browser for example) and pasting it in a Paragraph Text Layer in Photoshop.

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Character, Paragraoh, Options Bar, …) visible to illustrate what you are actually doing?
