UI font size won't change in preferences

During the update prior to 22.2, all of my user preferences and settings disappeared, and now the UI font size changes will not take effect. I have it currently set to large, but the UI fonts are very small and difficult to read. I've tried making changes to my preferences and reopening Photoshop, but none of the changes are happening, whether I go smaller or larger.

Is this a bug that hasn't been fixed yet, or can someone help me figure out how to get the UI fonts larger please?
