Unable to Export Video on Photoshop CC 2019

Hey everyone, I am using PS cc 2019 for some days now. I am not being able to export any video file that has some filters, effects and color corrections. PS just stucks at the loading screen when I click "File>> Export>> Render Video" option. It doesn't even show up render options, it just hangs on loading "circular animation".

The same file is working good on PS cc 2017 and it exports the video without any problem.

PC specs:
Windows 10 pro

CPU: Intel core i7-5820 k @3.30GHz

Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 970

RAM: 32GB

Please let me know if someone knows if this is a BUG or there is a problem in my system.

I am appalled at Adobe. Like many other account holders, I pay a yearly subscription to this company to deliver applications that should simply work. The bad news is that it is impossible to export a video file that has had spot healing and blur applied to it in Photoshop Motion 2019, or 2020! Adobe, kindly stop sitting on your hands and fix the render video in Photoshop. You have had over a year to do so.

Why is it doing that? Is Adobe going to fix it or what? This is annoying.

Hi!

I was having the same issues (which is how I found this thread) but found a way to make it work! It's a problem with Catalina + Photoshop. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-and-macos-catalina.html#Knowncompatibilityissues

After changing the permissions I was able to render a .mp4 in seconds after hours of trying to find a solution.

Hope this helps 🙂

I am elated. I created a username just to leave this comment. After months of having to render throug Adobe Media Encoder THIS FIXED IT FOR ME.

I'll put the exact instructions here for anyone who doesn't know how to change permissions.

System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Full Disk Access -- Then check the box next to the Adobe Photoshop icon

I'm so happy I'm finally free. Thank you.

I too am having this issue with the blank "Export As" dialog. (Also, the "Quick Export" doesn't do anything, no matter what format I set it to.) I'm running the new 2019.new version of Photoshop on Windows 10 64-bit with 64-bit Photoshop.

Definitely a bug in Photoshop CC 2019. It just gets stuck there so I'm forced to force quit. Had to use CC 2018 for this. Hope this gets patched soon! Please Adobe.

I have exactly the same problem,.

iMac 2017

i7 4,5 Ghz

64 RAM 2400 mhz

Radeon Pro 570

OSX Mojave

I was waiting for couple hours with 35 sec animation 2000x1000px.

Absolutely doesn't work.

So it is definitely PS 2019 Bug.

The animation I did was much shorter then 35 seconds  also I use Windows 10 not Apple Mojave.    It took CC 2019 a very very long time to export a very short animation. Only one of the 24 Processors in my workstation was working hard rebserinf the video. I think there is more than just a mac problem here.

I do not do video.  However I just open a very short mp4 video animation.  I converted the video layer to a smart object layer and added a lighting effect filter.  I then rendered a MP4 video out with the filter added.   It took Photoshop a very long time to render this short video.  Export render video may have a huge performance problem.  Only one process was working hard on my machine.  One would think that render video could be multi threaded to work one more the one frame at a time.  Utilize the 24 processors in my machine.  What filters are you adding?  CoinAnimation.mp4

Yes, I also made it a smart object and added 2 filters.

  • Camera RAW
  • Oil paint

The video is 4sec long with 1080p Resolution.

PS CC 2017 doesn't have issues handling the same file. It took a while for exporting but CC 2019 doesn't even show up export options. It hangs or takes a lot of time.
