Hoping someone can offer advice, today before updating I got a crash report while opening a raw file in photoshop cs6 2018.....I completed the update to 2019 and same issue still, crashes every time I try and open a file....followed some troubleshooting online but no joy, like updates and updating intel graphics card.

Hi Pete

Please could I ask for clarification here as it looks like you're asking for something relating to a desktop version of Photoshop and this is the forum for the mobile App, Photoshop Fix.

Perhaps a moderator could shift this to the Photoshop fourms and you'll get some help there, but before that happens (or as soon as possible after) it would be wise for you to be a bit clearer on the version of Photoshop you're using—is it CS6, or CC2019? Also include more information about your system (OS, Machine Type, RAM, etc) and the specific graphics card spec.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for the reply...it was a strange one...my computer Asus laptop seemed to freeze while using cs6 2018 opening a photo...when the laptop re-booted I updated Photoshop to 2019 version and same occured..I'm sorry it was posted in the wrong forum...newbie mistake. It's running a nveda graphics card at the moment....I dropped it off with a friend who does computer repairs this morning so hopefully he will come up with a cure.

You are all over the place with your naming of your software. There is no CS6 2018. There is CC 2018, CC 2019, CS6 is over 5 years old.

Do you have Adobe Bridge? If not, get it. Try and open the raw file from Bridge first.
