Unable to open RAW files (CR2 and CR3)
I am unable to open any Raw files (CR2 and CR3) in Photoshop Version 25.5.1 (Windows 11) - it still opens JPG. This is recent and occurs for both new RAW files I have added and old ones that previously opened.
Photoshop opens ..splash screen shows then Photoshop opens blank and freezes - no RAW dialog screen opens. Unable to click on anything and wont close without ending task.
I have tried all the suggested fixes in the forums - unstalled PS (with and without preferences) and loaded an earlier version to see if that worked - it didnt. Camera RAW preferences reset.
Have gone the convert to DNG angle yet as I don't see we have to use a work around like that when the Camera RAW function is offered still.
Getting very annoyed Adobe! I have things I need to get done - paying money and things not working is not great
