unable to print from Photoshop with Epson stylus photo 1500W

For some time now, I have been unable to print from Photoshop with my Epson stylus photo 1500W, which used to work without any problems.
The image is sent, but then gets stuck in the printer queue with the note "unknown error". I can print a text file, e.g. from Microsoft Word, with the printer. It only does not work with Photoshop. I have been able to rule out all the usual sources of error (file extensions, trying other files, deleting and reinstalling the printer and drivers, etc.) or have checked them. However, I can print a file from Photoshop on an Epson WP- 4525, for example.
What can I do to get Photoshop to print my pictures on the Epson Photo Stylus 1500W again?

I have now found the error myself. I think it's a shame that I didn't receive any help from Adobe despite the job ticket. I called them three times, sent emails and wrote here in the forum.
That's not very professional.

is there anyone here from adobe who is reading along and might be able to say something about this?
