Unable to Use Object Selection Tool

After not using Photoshop for a few weeks, I logged back in to work on a design and found that the Object Selection tool was no longer there. I looked online and did the toolbar "Restore Defaults" fix but the Object Selection Tool is still not there. I can't find the solution to my problem anywhere online as it seems that everyone else gets the Object Selection tool back after restoring defaults. Any suggestions?

I am running Photoshop on Windows 10 on a Lenovo Yoga 520
