Uninstall Older Versions

Hi Community,

I have PS CC 2019 (Bridge as well)

In Creative Cloud I only see 2019 versions - but in Program Files, in Ccleaner and in Win 10 apps I see still the 2018 versions.

Can I uninstall the 2018 versions without damaging anything in the 2019 functionality?

The same question goes for Bridge.

When the upgrade came I missed declining / unchecking the "keep prev. version" option.

If it is safe to uninstall the older versions, should I use Windows uninstall or Ccleaner?

Is there anything in AppData that should remain or go?

Thanks in advance

the 2018 remained by default because 2019 has so many bugs

yes you can uninstall 2018 Photoshop | Bridge if you want and yes that does cause file permission issues because the uninstall software will | can remove Photoshop as the software used to open certain types of files

ccleaner will do more harm than good ime and I would uninstall both 2019 and 2018 Photoshop | Bridge from the system, reboot (windows) and then install 2019 as the best option if you don't want 2018

again 2019 is full of bugs ime Bridge 2019 is particularly buggered and I kept 2018 myself

Agreed. That's the way to do it if you want to avoid problems.

Thank you all!

Yes-it makes sense: ... uninstall both and then re-install just 2019.

To the Creative Cloud app: when I open "manage" beside PS I see "other versions" -

under other versions I see half a dozen older versions but grayed out with the only option besides

them to "install" - so they are not present.

Cheers!

Do you use the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App?
If so for the apps which have multiple versions installed do you see an arrow next to them which allows you to see all installed versions?
There should then be a down arrow next to the Open button which will allow you to Manage them. From there you can Uninstall the unwanted version.
