Uninstall Photoshop CC 2017 (MAC)

Hi,
I'm currently helping out a friend who owns a Mac that needs to create more space by removing files and uninstalling applications. They recently installed the latest Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom) on their Mac as a part of their Uni course. However, they also had a version of Photoshop CC 2017 installed and rather than uninstalling this first, installed CC as well. To try and free up 2GB, I need to be able to uninstall Photoshop CC 2017. I treid uninstalling it alone, but it didn't work. I then uninstalled the latest CC (which I was able to uninstall completely), hoping this would successfully uninstall Photoshop CC 2017, but even this wouldn't work.

Are there any Downloads that I can use from Adobe that would enable me to uninstall Photoshop CC 2017?

Any help would be appreciated, including clear instructions, as I'm new to the world of Mac's and am more familiar with PC's.

Thanks

There should be an uninstaller inside the PS CC2017 folder. But to do a more thorough job, use the Adobe Cleaner Tool. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

It gets the background stuff out, and as long as you carefully select the correct CC2017 installation from the Cleaner Tool's options, it should leave your new installation untouched and completely clear out the old stuff.

Hi S_Gans,

Thank you for replying. I did manage to read this information online not long after I posted my request. Had to wait until I got to the person's house before trying, but this certainly solved all the issues and enable me to do a clean install of Adobe CC Photoshop, Premiere and Lightroom. I know that I would have tried your response had I not found it earlier. Appreciate you taking the time to respond.
