unknown error Error failed to retrieve docinfo error when trying to export in photshop

I had this exact same error when trying to export just now. For me, a simple Photoshop restart seemed to fix it. I will keep an eye out if it occurs again.

So, you can try to create a copy of your project with a different name and then reopen it. Try to export it again now. Worked for me. Try to close all other projects too it may help.

Also, which version of Photoshop along with the operating system version are you working with?
