It's possible that your Chromebook may not have enough resources to handle the raw file. Raw files are often large. If your Chromebook doesn't have enough RAM, your scratch disk is full (temporary storage for when you're out of RAM), or it has GPU limitations, then you could try first converting your RAW file to a different format such as JPEG, Lossy DNG, or Lossless DNG to reduce the file size before editing.

Hi,

I've freed up some disk space and the app has had no issues with raw files
in the past.
I'm still getting the error, if I clear the cookies and reload photoshop it
works but only for one file and then the error is back.

Kind regards,

Stephen Elsworth,
Open Skies Photography.

Hi @Stephen_Elsworth4502

Thanks for reaching out, and apologies for the delayed response. As Myra mentioned, please make sure that your system meets the Photoshop web system requirements shared here:
https://adobe.ly/45bnTfm

Additionally, please confirm whether the issue occurs only in this specific document or in all documents, including newly created ones. You can also try the following steps and let us know the results:

  • Test using a different browser (Firefox, Edge, or Safari)

  • Try opening Photoshop in an incognito/private window

  • Connect to a different network (for example, a mobile hotspot).

Looking forward to your update so we can assist you further.

Hi,

I have checked and my chromebook meets all the requirements.

I used a mobile hot spot and it worked for about 3 images then the error occurred again.

I cannot open photoshop in an incognito window.

I've been processing raw images for months on photoshop for Web and this has only occurred in the last couple of weeks.

I am now back to having to process on image at a time then clearing the site cookies and reloading the page for it to work.

This error occurs when I click done on the initial edit.

Kind regards Stephen

I am having an identical issue. I have been doing the same thing for more than a year and have never had this issue, I also have a TB storage laptop so I know it is not a RAM issue. I updated my computer, photoshop and the raw camera processor in the creative cloud and I am was able to proccess a few like you said, but then back to the error. Hopefully if this is a larger scale trend, Adobe will look into it further as a systemic issue.
