Unlock Code for Adobe Photo Album 2.0 Starter Edition CS5

Anybody got one? Is there a universal code (seeing as how Adobe no longer offers any support for it). I waited too long to register. About 7 years too late.

Thanks.

Correct answer John Waller

Yes. I'm well aware that Adobe will not help me.

If you've got Photoshop CS5, you should also have Bridge CS5.

Have you tried using Bridge for photo management?

What exactly is the issue you're having?

The other respondent took "universal code" to mean hack, in other words, asking for something illegal.  If that's not what you're asking for, then it's unclear what you're asking for.

Forgive my unfamiliarity with hacker-speak. My issue is this:

Years ago, I purchased a stand-alone version of CS5 Photoshop. This works fine. No problems.

It came with another disk however, on which was a program called Photo Album 2.0 Starter’s Edition. I confess, I was unaware that there was a deadline by which to register that particular piece of software (or lose all rights and ability to use it). That, in fact,  I only recently even tried to install it. To see if perhaps it offered a better way to organize and view Photoshop specific files.

I was prompted then to register it (necessary in order to get the unlock code), only to be informed that it was software no longer supported and there was no code to give. At this point, chatting online with an Adobe Help Technician. Clearly, any software manufacturer would prefer its users regularly upgrade. I have no intention of doing so. Especially now. I simply want to be able to use a product for which I’ve already paid.

For which I know enough to know that they could unlock if they chose.

I have not, he replies, suspecting with cause to do so sheepishly.

I'll have a look at it. Thanks.

Asking in Adobe's official forums may not be the best idea. Adobe's tech people may not be interested, but Adobe's legal people would be another story.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought this was a user's forum? As far as their attorneys, since the company happily took my money but now won't even provide a universal code (that surely exists) so that I can even use what is now an obsolete piece of software, this on a new machine as my old one died, they can all go suck an egg.
