Unwanted border when making multi page pdf

I am making a multi page pdf ( trying to make a portfolio I can send for a job) I have done this by going to file - automate - create multi page PDF. I opened the pdf to see how it would look, and there's a huge white border on everything, how do I get rid of this? ( the pattern shown is a3 and should have no white border at all)
