UpdaterStartupUtility caused my cursor to freeze. I had to force restart my mac.

I have automatic updates disabled, but I'm still having issues. Apparently UpdaterStartupUtility has been showing up a lot in my crash reports, pretty much at the same time (2:00 am est.) everyday since 5/29/24 (but hasnt been actually freezing my computer until today). What should I do?

I'm on a MacBook Pro, Mac OS Monterey Version 12.5

Remove the

com.adobe.AAM.Updater-1.0.plist

from

Macintosh HD/Users/UserName/Library/LaunchAgents

and see if that makes a difference.

Thank you! After I deleted the plist and restarted my computer, it hasn't shown up in the crash reports.

The fans have been turning on for my laptop more often when using Photoshop, so I decided to check if UpdaterStartupUtility has been acting up lately and sure enough, it's crashed once each day for 3 days (without me knowing), at very random times. I tried seeing if the com/adobe.AAM.Updater-1.0.plist was gone still and it is.

I went to the creative cloud uninstaller and selected the repair option, so I'm going to see if that does anything.
