Two Questions: 1) How do I upgrade from Photoshop 19.1.1 to the most recent version?
2) In the 19.1.1 running on Windows 10 on a PC, when I select the Clone Stamp tool, go to the area I want to clone with, press Atl+click, when I move the mouse after that, the entire image moves on the screen and the mouse-position indicator stays in the same relative spot that I selected to clone from. This just started happening in the last 2 days, while it worked properly before.

I have a subscription. But I have an older version of Photoshop and would like to get the most current one. How do I go about that?

Also, how do I get to the Photoshop forum? This is all I've been able to find (so far) for help.

To fix your Clone Stamp issue, go to Window>Clone Source and check Clipped.

I logged in to Adobe and went to my account, scrolled down to "Creativity and Design," and selected "Creative Cloud Home." It brought up a page asking me which .exe file it could use to access ... something. I went to the recently downloaded Photoshop-Set-up.exe file and told it to use that. It opened the Adobe Creative Cloud window on my left screen again which says "Installing Update" under the cloud logo, followed by a slightly grayed out progess bar with a 0% at the left end. It has been at 0% for over half an hour! I can hear my hard drive whirring like crazy, but nothing is moving, particularly the progress bar.

Jeff, I have downloaded the latest copy of the Photoshop Setup .exe file and tried to run it, but that fails, saying it could not link to the Creative Cloud. I have a similar message in the right-most panel of Photoshop saying "to use Creative Cloud Libraries, please sign in to Creative Cloud" or "Something went wrong, cannot link to Creative Cloud Libraries." Using your suggestion, A panel in the middle of the screen labeled Adobe Creative Cloud. It has three options near the top: Apps, Assets, & Stock. On Apps, it shows several that say they can be updated. Clicking "Update All" gets me an error message saying "Download Error" by Photoshop. A "retry" somehow got a small message in the lower right corner saying "Camera Raw has updated," but PS gets another download error and it asks me to sign in again.

I signed in and even chaged my password to do so. I keep getting notices in the lower right saying "(App Name) failed to update." Those include Ps, Br, & LrC as I scroll down the list and look at them.

The right screen says "Photoshop is now being installed" and more, but still no progress. And I checked my browser - it's the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.

After letting it run all night and all today while I was at my day-job, I came home to find the Adobe Creative Cloud Window with the message, "Creative Cloud Desktop failed to update. (Error Code 1001)" and a retry button. Now what?

Jeff, thanks! For some unknown reason, it wouldn't let me update my apps last night, but tonight it all worked. Thanks!
