Upgrade PS 26 and Bridge 15 - no apps showing in Start-up menu

Hello - I have two questions. 

First, I have upgraded Photoshop from 25 to 26, and Bridge from 14 to 15.  After install, there are no icons in startup for  the new versions.  I can get to them by opening Creative Cloud.  Is this by design?  No more Photoshop and Bridge separate installed apps?  Below screen shot is after v26 PS and v15 Bridge is installed.

Second,  when I click on an image in new v15 Bridge, it opens the file in the older v25 Photoshop.   When I right click on the image in new v15 Bridge to choose the app to open with, only the older v25 Photoshop is there as an option to select.
