Question

Using all Brush tips for every tool! I cannot for the life of me find out how to do this!

I cannot for the life of me find out how to do this! ALL I want to do is, for instance, use the "hair ...brush tip" as an eraser! For some unknown reason, the tools choose their own tips and visa versa. I have tried resetting all of the brushes to try to accomplish this but it does not work! I would like to be able to click on for instance ANY tool and then be able to use ANY one of my brush tip. As it is Adobe cc is using it's own predefined brush tip for each specific tool. Can someone please! Help me? I have been struggling with this for months!

I am so totally frustrated and cannot figure this out myself!

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Are you using Photoshop? When you say "tips", do you mean "tools?

The creator of the brush has the option to assign a tool to a brush they have created. You will see a picture of the tool in the upper right. You have two options:

    • Cmd+click the brush to disassociate it from the assigned tool (Ctrl+click on Windows)
    • Create a new brush based on that one and don't assign a tool
