Question

Using batches too apply actions does not work

I have created a set of actions and now I am trying to apply them to a bunch of images through File -> Automate -> Batch. I Have selected said set of actions, which folder to pull from and which folder to save in. However, when I run it all that happens is that the images open in Photoshop and that's it. The actions aren't applied and the images aren't saved to the folder. What could I have done wrong?

Maybe I misunderstand, but it sounds like you expect the actions in the set to run consecutively? You can only run one at a time. You can, however, nest actions inside each other, but that has to be recorded in the action itself.

What are the steps in the currently running action? That's individual action, not set.

Sorry for the image being in Swedish.

What I want to do is simply apply the "Stat1" action to multiple images at once.
All it does is to add a white square in each corner along with some text in each of them.

What does the error log say?

Do the images allow for the creation of Layers (so they could not be 1bit Bitmaps or Indexed Color for example)?

Please post meaningful screenshots (the fully expanded Action in the Actions Panel, the Batch dialog, …).

Actions can be tricky, sometimes. Can you confirm that each action runs successfully, independently (unlatched)?
