I'm not a huge fan of Generative fill as there are areas that need improvment; that and I don't like to completely depend on it for everything as it's not a path to go with this tool.
In any case, when creating using Generative Fill \ FireFly a variation; when I have found a variation I like I want to create different varations of that one particular varient ?
Another issue is the layer mask that is created for Generative Fills, they are usually blobs instead of nice clean cut out of the variation. I don't expect perfection but this could be improved a little more. I understand that one must use and know how to use Photoshop tools to create clean masks but improvment in this area would be desired.

Hi @StrongBeaver you can do some of this already with Firefly - it's called show similar.
It generates additional renders using your chosen image as reference.
Granted this is only available in Firefly currently but it is a step in the right direction and I would expect similar controls to come to a future Photoshop release for Generative Fill.
