The new (not anymore) built-in vector editor is completely unusable. I have to use cs6 for several years to work with vector, still no solution as for 2024?

    I don’t recall any relevant changes to Path-Tools or -functionality between Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC (or even Photoshop 2024), so I am a bit mystified what problem affects the original poster unless it is something basic like the Tool Mode »Shape« being set in the Options Bar instead of »Path« (or vice versa).
