VENTURA OS UPDATE- Epson Printing Issues P8000

Hi.

Wondering if there is anyone out there who has had the same issues since updating Ventura OS. It's made my printing life hell! I print on an Epson p8000, use latest in photoshop. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer driver from Epson that is associated with Ventura OS, but seem to have major issues since. I wish I never updated the OS!!!

My printer settings dialog is 100% different. Issues keep happening where I can not even select paper options (ie: roll paper vs sheet etc). My printer will stop communicating with photoshop midway through a job so it will stop printing entirely. I've wasted so much ink and paper trying to find a solution.

Have talked with apple and adobe support- no real answers there. Also talked with Epson.

Any printer out there who can help?

Thank you

It surely have been a living hell for us too at the studio. Wondering if this will be fix soon. We're on tight schedules here and everything is so nerve wrecking

Hi. I'm having some serious issues printing as well since upgrading to Ventura. Wondering if anyone has had any resolution. I'm printing with Epson p8000 and using latest version of Photoshop. Downloaded the latest driver, uninstalled the previous from Epson. Since then, my printer settings screen is totally different. Can't access my paper selection (sheet/rollpaper etc). Printing will stop halfway through the jobs. Wasting a ton of paper and ink.... Have been in touch with adobe and apple support... both which was not overly helpful in finding a solution. Was printing totally fine before this upgrade! Can anyone HELP!!!?

Then maybe do the Epson Enema and install the print drivers (from Epson) again:
1.Delete all instances of Epson printers from System Preferences (System Settings in Ventura)>Print & Fax.

2.Then go to /Library/Printers and toss the whole Epson folder.

3.Toss LFP Remote Panel (IF you are using this utility for your printer).

4.Then reinstall drivers from Epson and never Apple.

NOTE: IF you have more than one Epson printer, you need to install the driver in the order of their release! Older then newer or you run into issues (eg, install 4800 before you’d install 3880).
