Version 13.1 Suddenly Unresponsive in Windows 10

Obviously, I have an old version. But suddenly it's not working at all. I can open the app, but all menus are unresponsive - I can't even open a file. I still have my install discs - should I just reinstall? I'd like to upgrade, but I HATE subscriptions. I just use this app for fun, and I am retired. Am I out of luck?

Have you tried resetting your CS6 Preferences? both the 64Bit and 32Bit version still run OK on my Windows 10 PC.  However many scripts are not compatible with 32bit Photoshop.
