Want a shortcut to Rotate an "Object" or selection in PS.

hello!

I am looking for a way to rotate a selection or an object within my PS file without having to Edit > Transform > Rotate.  I find that I rotate selections often and it seems surprising that I can not find a shortcut for this process. Of course there is the "R" Rotate feature but I do not find it helpful to rotate an entire image.  Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks.

It's pretty much ctrl/cmd-T, then you can rotate. You don't need to go through the menu system.

Thank you Chuck! I knew that I could resize that way but just did not realize that I could  get the rotate tool by moving the tool tip outside of the object area. makes my life simpler!

Yea, that about as simple as it can get.
