i'm wanting to change the colour of both the shirt to specific colour, & the braces to another colour, i have yet to find an actual way of doing this?, i changed other part colours using choosing a colour - solid colour - change to "color" which worked, so i cant figure why neither the shirt or braces will work?, any ideas on how to change both to a certain colour shade much appreciated, thank you.

Hi

Try using Hue/Saturation adjustment layers (set to Colorize) along with masks so that they only affect the areas you want

To add to what Dave said, duplicate layer and colorize each item separately.
