I have a file that is 10800 x 1350 split into 10 slices to make and Instagram post. Due to size restrictions from what I'm gathering, is there a way to select the first 5 slices to export and then the last 5 to stay within the guidelines?

Yes 8192px is the limit.

Work on a duplicate file crop via canvas size to under 8192px and export, then reduce the canvas size in the other direction and export the other slices.

Or there are scripts to export slices to layers, where you can then save all layers to files... Or scripts to save the slices to say PSD (such scripts bypass save for web and are not limited to the old 8192px limit).
