Are the lines still there when the Type layer is disabled?

when you make the type layer invisable, it disappears. but once youre typing the text & finalize the text to select something else, it appears again, sometimes even worse. 😕

Could you please post screenshots with the text selected and the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, Character, …) visible?

Do you mean the Transform Controls? 

If so then uncheck »Show Transform Controls« for the Move Tool in the Options Bar.
