We are looking to upgrade our Plug Ins to 64 bit and would like to use the latest Photoshop SDK. My questions when can we expect the release of the Windows SDK for Photoshop CS5?

You do not need the CS5 SDK to produce 64-bit Windows plugins. 64-bit CS4 supports them and you can build them using the CS4 SDK.

64-bit plugins for Intel Macintosh need the CS5 SDK.

The other CS5 SDK's are now up. Not sure why the Photoshop one is lagging. I'm looking into it.

At this point the Photoshop Developer Center claims the Photoshop CS5 SDK is online, but it is still hidden from all but an adventuresome hacker.

From this page:  http://www.adobe.com/devnet/photoshop/

function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}

Adobe Photoshop CS5 SDK

The Adobe Photoshop CS5 SDK is now available. Developers can use the SDK to create plug-ins that extend the functionality of Adobe Photoshop CS5. Get the SDK and start developing plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop CS5 today.

However, if you follow the link you still get the EULA and download links for the CS4 SDK.  I tried changing the filename in the URL provided by the "Agree and download SDK..." links so that "cs4" becomes "cs5" and it worked.

Please consider this a STRONG PLEA to release future Photoshop SDKs BEFORE the actual product release.  It would be awesome if we developers could have our products fully ready at the same time a new version of Photoshop is released.

You need to get on the pre release program for Photoshop. This is the best way to get pre release of the product and pre release of the SDK. The links are now correct for CS5 SDK.

Thanks for this suggestion - I had no idea this was available for open application.

Just a reminder that the C/C++ SDK is now available on the devnet web site.
