What are these colored blots? [iPad]

@blodsmak  those "dropshaped blots of color" that appear when you're trying to color your drawing in Photoshop on the iPad are almost certainly color samples or swatches that have been pinned to your canvas. You've likely accidentally activated a gesture or tool that created them. They typically appear when you're using the Eyedropper tool (which looks like a small dropper icon on the toolbar, often grouped with other tools), or if you've tapped and held on a color to sample it. These are incredibly useful once you understand their function! They are designed to let you quickly sample and switch between colors that you've picked from your artwork, or that you want to keep handy for easy access.

To use them: If you tap on one of the color drops, it should instantly set your active foreground color to that sampled color, allowing you to quickly switch between specific hues in your artwork.

To get remove them: You should be able to simply tap and hold on one of the color drops, and then drag it off the canvas. It should then disappear. You might have to do this for each individual drop.
