What is this called....
...when I want to place a graphic onto a textured background and have the texture show through the graphic.
In my case, I have a textured wooden door that I want to place a graphic (the graphic is essentialy text only) on top of it and have the wooden texture show through.
What I was able to find on the web was open the textured door image in photoshop, place the graphic as a new layer. Select both layers and then select Auto Blend layers from the Edit at the top of photoshop but the auto blend is greyed out. I am unsure even if this process will accomplish what I want to do.
