What Size DocumentShould I Create For Best Video Image Quality?

Please bear with me, I'm new to animating images using Ps.

I'm working on creating animated sequences in Ps and then rendering them as video to use in After Effects.  I'm unclear on the size file I ought to create in Ps.  I believe I need to render the video as H.264 size HDV 1080p.  Does the size and resolution of the document originally created in Ps mater?  I usually start with an 8.5 x 11" document at 300 dpi.  Should I be doing this differently?

Hi there,

While creating a New Document change the Inches to Pixels and enter 1920 as Width & 1080 as Height, you can keep the resolution somewhere between 100 to 300. And Make sure that Artboards is not checked.
