when I click another window photoshop turns gray

when I click another application window photoshop turns gray, when I return to photoshop I have to click anywhere and wait a few seconds for the gray do disappear.

That may be a Mac issue or device diver issue I do not see that happen on my windows machine.

    Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?
