When will Photoshop for iPad be updated again?

It's been 8 months since the last update. Version 5.5.2 and while this was basically a bug fix update, there doesn't seem to have been any work of further development of the app. This is a shame because I use the iPad in preference to the desktop now, and have done for some time. Express is updated regularly and it seems all development is now heading in that direction.

This leads me to wonder... has Photoshop on the iPad been abandoned?

This is not a question that the volunteers on this forum can answer, as we are not privy to that information. We don't know what Adobe is working on and anyone who does knows is under NDA. 

Fingers crossed that we see updates soon!
