Hi,

I am using CC2019 and in my Preferences -> File Handling settings there is no option to embedd thumbnails.

Where did it go?

I want to embedd thumbnails in my tiff files to be correctly displayed in Win10.

Cheers,

DS

On the windows version of photoshop Image Previews set to Save Always/Ask When saving saves thumbnails and previews. in the File>Save As dialog there is a Thumbnail checkbox.

The mac version of photoshop has different settings.

Oh, indeed. I didn't connect that.

Nevertheless, it doesn't solve anything, as it was "Always Save" all the time.

The result I am after is to see a *.tiff file thumbnail as scaled down flattened RGB, without alpha, while in fact alpha is dcontained in the file along with layers optionally.

Appreciate any help.

WHy do I need it? Well, tiff is more of a standard and is more universal than psd or psb. Problem in migration from psd to tif is that tif's transparency breaks thumbnails.
Can't have the same thumbnails as with psd?

Cheers,
DS
