where is lasso tool in 21 PS

I can't find the lasso tool in PS 21. It used to be in the selection area. There's Object, Quick and Magic Wand, but no lasso, or magnetic lasso.

Hi, it's there just simple press the L key you will get it or reset your preferences to get all things back to normal....regards

I seem to be stuck with the magnetic lasso, and I can't seem to do anything with it. I press L, and I get magnetic lasso. Is there something where I can freeform choose a shape? I haven't figured out what the magnet is supposed to do, and I'm trying to follow another tutorial on skin matching.
