where is the magic wand tool

Hi guys

Brand new to photoshop. I'm using photoshop cc and I cannot find the magic wand tool, I have gone to my quick selection tool and clicked on the down corner, but it is not displaying.  I only get the quick selection tool.  I have seen several threads that show the magic wand tool in the dropdown, but mine does not show up.  Any ideas please>  Heather

It is nested with the Quick Selection tool. Don't just click on the down-corner... click and hold.

If it does not appear, right click here and reset the tool

Thanks so much Pattie-F, just that extra bit of information about right clicking and holding it down made all the difference.  I am now the proud owner of a magic wand!  Thank you friend 🙂  Heather
