Hi

Sorry to write this but Adobe no longer offer downloads on older versions, and even if you had the installer, the activation server has been closed down.

Frustrating, I know.

Sadly we volunteers here can't help you get that activation - we are in the same boat as you

It would have been best to save it some months ago. Adobe no longer offer this download. I don't say this is a good thing.

Thank you for sharing that. However, I wonder if it is the replacement product which doesn't need activation, or the now useless original product. Please let us know what you find!

None of the files in that FTP folder would be the CS2 Installer that does not require Activation. Those file were created in 2005 before Abobe create the  CS2 Installer that does not require activation and I do not see the CS2 serial that needs to be used with that cs2 installer there either. Most of the file in that FTP tree are the updates for the various Photoshop versions.  No full Photoshop version of Photoshop seems to be in those FTP folders. For example the CS6 installer download is over 1GB in size there is less the 1GB of data in the FTP CS6 version 13 folder, The folder just contains all the CS6 Updates and optional plug-ins. It contains no CS6 download

All the file in the new installer package have old 2005 dates it is install via a setup.exe and there is a "Adobe Photoshop CS2.msi" in the package.

It doesn't seem to work anymore? Can we still find CS2 for free anywhere? Thanks.

CS2 is not free and never was. All the links to  a Free CS2 were links to Adobe downlod for their  old CS2 customers thess user could use link to download a new installer and their CS2 serials and Adobe account login to  certain a new serials number for their new download.   That Adobe download is no longer available for their old customers. CS2 has been out of support for many years.  CS2 is a 32 bid application  not runnable on new Mac and does not run well on Windows 10.  Buy Photoshop Elements if you want a cheap Photoshop... Element will be better than CS2
