Whole Photoshop artboard turns grey when working with text

Hi all,

I've been having a strange, but rather annoying, bug since this Monday.

Everytime I'm working with a Photoshop document that contains text, the entire artboard gets grayed out when I click on another window.

I can get the design back in photoshop by clicking anywhere in the artboard, but it all somehow looks less crisp afterwards.

It only happens in files with text in them AFTER I edit the text.

Anybody got any clues as to what might be causing this? And how to fix it?

Any help is much appreciated.

Here's some info about my setup:

- Photoshop version 21.2

- MacOS Catalina version 10.15.5

- Macbook Pro (2019)

-> Processor 2,4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

-> 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 Memory

-> Graphics card Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB

 Sorry, not sure what information is useful and which is not!

Unchecking either "Legacy compositing" or "use graphics processor" have not worked in fixing the issue.
