Why can't i use blur gallery?

A couple days ago, i found myself unable to use blur gallery. i don't what i did or what's wrong but this is all that opens when i click any of the blur gallery options. How do i fix it? What should i do?

Click on the reveal arrow at the far right of the options bar, when in your second screen shot, and then on 'Reset Blur Gallery'.

Well all I can think of at the moment. I hope others here can do better.

We can see that you are zoomed way out to 6.25%, but your document window is still filling the workspace, so I am guessing this a very large canvas? It is usually best to have zoom set to 100% when evaluating effects. Can you tell us if it resolves your issue if you zoom in 100% ?

no, zooming in didn't change a thing. The blur gallery is still missing. I can use field blur and the rest if i click each of them from the drop down but the blur gallery is still no where to be found so there's no switching between them
