I am trying to create a small graphic for a website that has Open Sans as the font. I downloaded the font and have tried using in Photoshop but it looks completely different to online?

I have had similar problems with Open Sans.

I have this font from Typekit, and used it in a book I made in Indesign.

While working on the book, I updated Libre Office, which installed a different version of Open Sans, which somehow took over and replaced the Typekit font.

The solution was to delete every instance of Open Sans I could find on my computer.

Maybe something similar is happening to you.

Sometimes, you may need to clean up the cache for font usage. You can better manage to be active or passive because of the overlapping of fonts.
