Why is the text placed over what I already wrote instead of going down?

The question is that normally when I wrote a text in photoshop it was placed normal and it even went down when it was more text, and now when I write it gets on top of what I already wrote, which makes it difficult to understand what one writes, I also tried to lower the text that is on top but I have to press space more than once to lower that text and even so, it is difficult for me to select part of the text that I want as if I want to select what I wrote at the beginning.

EXAMPLE:

THE NORMAL:

I use Photoshop

THE ERROR:

I use and the word '' photoshop '' would go over what I wrote which is: '' I use ''

making the writing confusing.

Go to your type controls for character and check your leading, kerning and tracking settings.

Leading should show (Auto), Kerning and Tracking should be 0.

If it’s between lines, adjust the Leading setting in the Character panel.
