why not just call it "undo" ?

i can see that a few changes have been made to make photoshop more intuitive and less awkward, which is great

the whole "step forward" "step backward" thing really annoyed me. i dont know about the rest of you.

i had changed the settings so that this did, what it does in every other software. basically "undo"

but in the 2019 version, am i right in saying that photoshop have changed it now, to something else awkwardly called "toggle last state". which, because of my settings , im not sure if it is an undo or not.

heres an idea, why not just call it "undo" ?   or at least, provide 2 options, one option that is "undo" and another option which is "toggle last state"

i think it would be more intuitive.

If you prefer the old behaviour then go to Keyboard shortcuts and check "Use Legacy Undo Shortcuts"
