Why path not showing?

why paths disappear when I using line tool?

I need my paths to drag lines...

(use photoshop2023)

In the Tool Options Bar do you have it set to Shape and not Pixels

Thank you, I've tried it and it works when I drag the line.

However, my paths still disappear when I finish the line, and I have to press command+h to bring them back.

Is there anyway to keep the path on the canva?

Ensure both options are checked: View > Extras & View > Show > Target Path.
