I upgraded to Windows 11 last night and now Photoshop & Lightroom have some issues with how images are colored. (I will include some screen caps below showing the appearance oddities) But basically any image opened in PS will have an orange/yellow appearance. But on the PS "main page", the color is accurate on the thumbnail "recent" photos dock. In LR, the thumbnails are all orange/yellow prior to import. But once you select and import your photos, the images appear correctly colored. So it's the same issue with both apps, but in reverse.
If you do any work in PS on the photos (such as sky replacement or cloning) the resulting image comes out as you might expect and there is no evidence of any yellow/orange coloring. So this seems to be JUST a display issue within the apps and not a color shift of the image itself. So if you are doing some physical changes to the image and aren't worried about making adjustments to color/lighting, maybe this is just an annoyance. But if you are trying to do any color correction in PS, this is likely to drive you insane.
I will include my app "about" details, but on initial review, there is one quick oddity there as well. Even though I am running Win11, the report fro m within PS shows I am running Win10. So I will be uninstalling PS/LR and reinstalling to see if maybe there is some corelation between the new Windows version not matching the apps' understanding of which Windows version I am running. This issue does not appear to be happening within LRC.
***UPDATE***
Prior to posting this bug report, I updated to Adobe Photoshop Version: 22.5.1 20210907.r.441 de74e1a x64 and now the orange preview issue is not happening. (PS version txt files for before and after are attached) So perhaps anyone who experiences this issue can simply update their version. There doesn't appear to be an update to LR that can resolve that color issue.

Thanks for the info. Just to be sure my laptop had the correct profile, I (re)downloaded the sRGB (2.1) from https://www.color.org/srgbprofiles.xalter#v2 and started up PS & LR. Everything looked goo. To test it, I reenabled AutoHDR in Windows Display settings, started PS,and that dorked it up. Closed PS, turned off AutoHDR, opened PS, and it works fine. So definitely seems to be an issue with the HDR settings. Thanks again for the solution 🙂

I am having the same issue with Windows 11. Ever since I updated to W11, my colors are muted/desaturated on my laptop. When I view the images from my desktop (running W10) the colors are what I would expect. My laptop is color calibrated with a ColorMunki. For me its like I am missing some yellow/orange elements. Is there a bug between W11 and LR displaying colors? Prior to my W11 update my laptop was displaying colors in LR as I expected them to be.

Reportedly the issue is that, unfortunately, with the introduction of W11, Microsoft have removed the software "call" that Adobe use to 'get the display ICC profile'.
Early adopters of W11 are going to have to wait 'til Microsoft fix that, or until Adobe alter the design of their SW to adapt to the W11 alterations.
I hope this helps neil barstow,

I'd like to report that Microsoft has released an update to the color managment regime inside Windows 11.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/status-windows-11-21h2#2768msgdesc
They admit to the color managment issue and have included an update in the lastest release KB5008353.
Note, I had to "push" this update to download on my machine and install. My cursory look , post-update, and it seems to have fixed the issue at hand (judging by the pictures between my laptop and windows 10 machine). Putting this here for those who are having issues.
