Work on a file for a non-profit organization?

Hello everybody!

I have a picture of a church that I would like to have some work done on it. First of all, I want it to look like the lights are on inside the church and have yellowish light streaming out of the windows to make it look more inviting. Also I would like if the little lamps in front of the church would appear like they are lit with a yellowish glow on the snow below them. Would somebody have the time to do something like this for me?

Capture.PNG

If anybody is interested, I can email the picture to whoever wants to work on it.

Thanks in advance!

If I am posting this in the wrong forum, let me know.

Happy to show you how :

You could try something like this :

A couple of curves layers to darken and cool (make bluer) the image

A duplicate with the image warmed and only slightly darkened then paint on the mask where you want the lighter warmer areas.

For the windows mask and paint them

Then for the glows just paint them in with a soft brush.

Not perfect but hopefully you get the idea:

Very nice job Dave.  You'll surely go to Illustrator heaven.   I'm looking hard to see how you could have done anything else, and all I can think of is a wisp of smoke from the chimney, maybe a moon; some bats and an owl, carol singers and a red nosed reindeer peeking its head from behind the church (with a speech bubble), a cat in the tree with glowing eyes, and some people skiing down the roof...  Ahhh  I see you put the solar lights on the path   Health and Safety is important with all that slippery snow.

I agree that it looks absolutely wonderful! Is it asking to much of you, Dave to work on the actual file? If it is, just let me know. I obviously don't know how to paint in Photoshop as well as you do. If I could send you the 3 mb file to work on, I would be tickled pink!

Seeing as it's Christmas.....

Depending on format you may just be able to post it here (I think the forum limit is 8.5MB)

I guess you're right! Nothing teaches better than just doing it.

Ok, that sounds great!

Thanks again!
