Using clone stamp.expand image

I wanted to change the aspect ratio to 1:1 and hence cropped out the image. PS did a pretty good job with content-aware fill, but it is getting confused with the grid structure on the floor. How can I improve this? I am using CC 2018 and hence cannot use the modern advanced AI features.

If there is a website or app that can fix the floor, that would be helpful as well.

You could use the Clone Stamp in the Vanishing Point filter.
