Workspace auto resizes and become unresponsive

There is something about the new Photoshop (and Illustrator too for that matter) that does not like one of my motions.  I will be working on a file, then for some reason the workspace resizes and I cannot drag it by the corner and resize.  I have to minimize it, click on it from the windows tray, and THEN I am able to resize.  This happens countless times during the day.  It is so frustrating. Please help.  I don't know what causes it, but what a hassle.

    Hi chrisw,

    Please make sure the version of Photoshop you are using is updated and your Graphics card driver is also up-to-date.

    Try restoring Photoshop preferences to default, Refer Preferences in Photoshop

    Please post your Photoshop>Help>System info report here and we'll check if something needs to be changed.
