Workspace Background Color Photoshop 2023 OS14

I am trying to change the workspace background color from the default of black to white.  I have tried to research instructions, but I am not sure I am using the correct terminology. The part I am trying to change is the area the image opens up on when you edit. I have tried changing the color in Interface, but that doesn't work.

The default background color is medium grey, but you can set it to any color you like.

Try right clicking on the background and using the context menu. If you want white, you have define it as a custom color.
